I found this really great website, the "NOAA All Hazard Monitor" which talks about lots of different kinds of hazards. It's great because you can you can see different types of hazards and disasters, and get information on when/where they're likely to occur.

I picked this link because it has a lot of really good information about things going on at the moment - news articles, videos, weather maps, forecasts - the works. Also, I associate this website with the actual weather channel, which had some really interesting stories.

I thought this link was just awesome: It's put out by by NASA, and when you go over the blue push-pin looking guys, it gives you information on the disastard/hazard going on there, and gives you dates and images too! I thought this was really great because not only does it give you a look at multiple disasters going on, but it also gives you a more global look at them.

I actually found this link completely by accident, but it is the first 99 pages of our textbook. I thought this was just really helpful if at any point I needed a refresher on something. (I condensed the link via tinyurl . com)
